New York Diary – Day three
Day three has been a washout. The wind was furious, and the rain was torrential most of the day. I spent the day writing the previous post, cleaning gear, organizing files, and generally relaxing in the apartment.
My first plan for the day was to do a photo walk with James Maher, a photographer from New York whose blog I follow. However, as we watched the weather report yesterday, it became clear it would not be a good day to walk about town to photograph. As I wrote in the previous post, my second option was to go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, but the museum is closed on Wednesdays.
Spending the day hanging out in the apartment seemed like a waste of a day here in New York, but it turned out to be a productive day and relaxing. I did make one image.
