WINDOWS, MIRRORS & REFLECTIONS
Storefront windows, mirrors and reflections have always been an attraction in my photography practice. The first image in the series below, "Puppy in the Window," is from 1985, shot with an Olympus OM-1 and Kodachrome 64 transparency/slide film. So, while the subject matter is not a new path, my approach today to this type of imagery has been influenced by my research into the early innovators of color photography - Keld Helmer-Petersen, Saul Leiter, Ernst Haas, and Fred Herzog et al.
